The Maps screen gives you a map of the local area/realm you are in, Towns and important locations are already marked on the map. You can use the Arrow buttons to move the view around the realm. Clicking anywhere on the map or a shown location will take you to that spot, some tiles may require Survival skills which if you do not have you will not be able to enter the tile and may get sent elsewhere.
