Your Skills (of which there are over 130 in the game) are what make you. Your choice of profession determines what skills you start with, as you evolve you gain new skill choices. Not all skills are from your profession, there are many skills such as Crafting skills or Auxillary skills that can be bought from Skill Trainers, for a list of the main skill trainers you can read the Knotwood Valley Realm Guide. All of your skills have a limit on them, this is typically five times your level, so at level 1 you can not get more than 5pts in a skill, at level 50 you can not get more than 250pts, each time you level your limit will go up five points.
